Street View captures murder scene in Windsor

According the the Windsor Star, Google has agreed to remove a series of images from their Street View database in which the remnants of a murder were clearly visible, including a pool of blood. The murder took place in the parking lot of the Leopard’s Lounge and Broil. The images were taken hours after Nicholas Ingram, 24, was stabbed around 2 a.m. on July 21, 2009. He was later pronounced dead at Hotel-Dieu Hospital.

Even though Google has removed the sensitive images, it is still possible to see the police tape that once surrounded the area. The next 4 images down this street are missing. This is also true for street images from the streets that bound the parking lot to the east and the south. This is the remaining image from the SE.
